I did the same thing and can't think of anytime I disagreed with a 90% guy getting in.

But I also do my own veterans committee type thing every 5 seasons. For me, the Hall of Fame is less about stats and more about the "fame". So awards weigh heavily with me. If a guy makes 10 all-star games and gets 5 gold gloves, he was one of, if not THE best at his position for a decade and deserves to be in.

I had a guy once that won the MVP twice in his first four years, was an AS each year and won 3 gold gloves. Then he went down with an injury and was done. I didn't hesitate to put him in.
