Watching these 2 guys constantly trying to out-do one another was probably one of my favorite things to ever happen in OOTP. They just dominated the game in a way I've never seen before or since (I've seen guys this good, but not where 2 of them were so far above everyone else around them). Considering the era they were playing in, I couldn't help but be reminded of Williams vs. Mantle. Tune hit for a high average, drew a ton of walks, and between ABs you gave him a glove, stuck him at one of the corners and hoped for the best. Kimes had monster power, hit .300, and played outstanding OF defense.
(Just to put the HR totals of these 2 in perspective, they own the top 9 spots on the single-season HR list. The guy at #10 had 51, and that didn't happen until 1956.)
This was all during OOTP14, and unfortunately I had a few problems that caused me to have to "retire" this save, so it'll forever be 1958.

But I'll always keep a copy of it and transfer it to the latest version, just so I can look back at these 2 guys and remember how much fun this was. Kimes even edges out Roy Hobbs as my favorite fictional player of all-time...
