Hall of Fame Voting Results 2030

Hall of Fame Voting Results:
The ballots are counted and the results are in. Unfortunately, no player was elected to the Hall of Fame this year. The top vote getter was Stan Miller, who received votes from 73.2% of eligible electors.

The full voting results are included here. Players require 75% of ballots cast to be elected to the Hall, may stay on the ballot for up to 10 years if they receive at least 5% of the votes. Players must be retired for 5 years before they are eligible for induction to the Hall of Fame.

CF Stan Miller 73.2 (1st year)
CL Dalton Whitaker 61.0 (1st year)
CL Wilson Acosta 48.5 (1st year)
SP Don Sweetapple 39.3 (2nd year)
LF Glenn Jenkins 39.0 (2nd year)
RF Billy Moore 32.9 (2nd year)
RF Steve Williams 22.7 (2nd year)
SP Jarred Perry 20.3 (2nd year)
C Vince Moy 15.6 (1st year)
CF Alberto Trujillo 6.8 (2nd year)
SP Anthony Dundee 5.4 (2nd year)
RF Pete MacCammon 5.1 (2nd year)
SS Jorge Gutiérrez 3.4 (1st year) Dropped
SP Rod Cantrell 3.1 (2nd year) Dropped
CL Bill Fox 2.7 (2nd year) Dropped
C Gustavo Feliciano 2.4 (2nd year) Dropped
LF Alonso Reyna 2.0 (1st year) Dropped
RF Grant Wright 1.7 (2nd year) Dropped
C Jake Judkins 1.0 (2nd year) Dropped
2B George Waller 0.3 (1st year) Dropped

I may have to tinker with the HoF settings, since the voting doesn't take into consideration the "newness" of the league. Where players like Sweetapple or Miller would of put up bigger numbers if the league started when they were younger. Or maybe I just leave it... I am quite shocked that Dalton Whitaker only got 61% of the votes. He was the first pitcher to 350 saves, the only pitcher above 300 for quite a while and he struck out a ton of hitters. Relief pitches never seem to get the respect they deserve, as I think he had at least one season where he should of won the Golden Arm (Cy Young)... For now the Hall remains empty, but my guess not for much longer...
