Conference Championships - Game 7
Game 7: Georgetown Sixteens at New Castle Colonials
Gonzalo Bustamante will be on the hill in game 7, after a solid performance in his first playoff start I am hoping he can follow it up with another solid start. He is full rested, so my fingers are crossed.. We go up against Stan Burns and he held us quiet but took the ND as we plated the go-ahead runs against the Colonials bullpen.
This should be a good game... Gallegos is back in the lineup, and I decided to keep Janchez in the game after his solid game 6. Janchez will bat 9th and play RF.
CF Randy Downey (L), 2B Edgardo Perdnard, LF Blake Quirke, DH Dave Lewis, SS Stephen Bentall, 1B Francisco Gallegos (S), C John Herbert, 3B Robinson Lopez, RF Javier Janchez (L)
The Colonials bring the same lineup to game 7 as they every other game this series. And Stan Burns who took the ND in game 3 is back.
RF Cris Flores, 3B Ramon Soto, 1B Jorge Trujillo (L), C Emilio Rivera, SS Tim Simmons (S), LF Jeff Williams, CF Steve Moon, DH Nick Watson, 2B Ian Sellers
One game, winner takes all... I hope these guys are ready to play...

GM Notes:
Well that was surprising. I didn't expect to be playing a game 7, let alone winning it the way we did. I have to say I am happy for us and now we are heading to the title game. Just wow... Bustamante, Pye and Gonzalez brought us back from a 3-1 deficit. Without their pitching we wouldn't be here... And the offense performed better than I have seen them all season. Just on fire... I am not sure what the next series is going to bring, but I am going to take some time to soak in this 'W' and our amazing 3-1 series comeback. Never expected that... After pulling off this series win, I think we might be able to pull off the next series as well. Just being here is pretty amazing, and the possibility of winning it all? Well that just sounds awesome as well... The Championships series includes two teams that have never been here before! This is fun...
