yeah, just the current year's salary will stay on the books - even if it was an option year before you executed it.
if oyu have draft pick trading on, get a 10th-20th rounder or whatever they offer. even a 30potential prospect with 1 attribute that you like and the chance at some TCR occuring. even if it seems like nothing, it could be worthwhile to trade for it.
trade for $1 cash (kidding try 500k-1M or something). something is better than nothing.
