5. Voting: Voting shall be based upon the player's record, playing ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character, and contributions to the team(s) on which the player played.
There are already some players in there who shouldn't be based upon that criteria. We should actually be removing them, not voting in more of them.The all-time hits leader fails on this criteria & Bonds record is severely tainted due to PED use. And spare me the "never failed a drug test". He admitted to putting things in his body that he "wasn't aware of what they were or what they do." Sure.
And Rose is STILL betting on games today. He was told to change his life and he might be reinstated. He was already told he can't have both betting AND baseball. He made his choice. Now he has to live with that choice.
