Input Requested For Dynasty Concept

Hi,

I'm going to create a OOTP16 dynasty (or potential online league, though it's highly doubtful). The concept is eight separate leagues, all ML-level (as I can use the reputation levels in the game, as well as make all playoff stats equal); there are two national level leagues (one utilizing the old MLB setup, mostly, and one utilizing a Midwest/Pacific alignment). The other six leagues, each of decreasing reputation, set in various regions throughout the country.

Southwest
New England/Mid-Atlantic
Great Lakes/Upper Plains
Northwest
Southwest/Dust Bowl
Appalachian/Cape Cod

The winners of each of those leagues would participate in a Tournament of Champions, in order to claim one national champion each season. Also, instead of spring training, there will be a national tournament, involving all teams (I'm considering doing this throughout the season, too, so that the national champion is crowned right before the Tournament of Champions).

Another twist, one I arrived at this afternoon, requires your input. I want to put each of these leagues into different, consistent eras. They'll all be running in one universe...but I'd have each league fixed at a different point in history, each with different settings, the way they use rosters, how offensive leagues are, how pitching-minded they are, etc. I am considering having the two top leagues move through history, but the other six leagues remain fixed.

The trouble here is...I'm not sure which seasons I should use. I will obviously go for different eras. But as far as specific seasons...I'm not certain.

What say you? What is your input? I love to have my dynasties have a logical background, but enough of a twist to open up creativity.

I will also post my city alignments, so that you can look it over and tell me if you think something should be different.

Thank you for reading...I'm quite interested in what is to come, as this is a five-year idea (at least) that I'm finally making a breakthrough on.
