We are back home, but so is the rain.
Liberty League:
New York (14) at Indianapolis (4): Miah Turner (27-5.3) (21-17) over Levi Giddens (36-4.8) (10-16). Turner allowed 8 hits, no walks and struck out 6. At bat, he had 2 hits and 2 walks, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. C Jim Martin (27-5.0) had 3 hits with 2 doubles and a walk and scored 3 runs. RF Bert Gellis (27-5.5) had 4 hits with a triple, scored 4 runs and had 3 RBIs. SS Dave Hay (26-5.7) hit 2 home runs and had 5 RBIs. He now has 6 home runs on the season.
Boston (3) at Cleveland (5): Willard Clapp (26-4.3) (10-19) over Dave Wolf (26-4.7) (18-23).
Grand National Association:
Kansas City (3) at Providence (2): Piggy Lambert (24-8.2) (16-12) over Ed Hodges (28-3.2) (17-14). Lambert allowed 5 hits, 3 walks and struck out 8. He has won 5 in a row.
