Detroit Wolverines (61-28 .685 in 1st place in the Liberty League) at
Indianapolis Hoosiers (41-51 .446 21.5 GB in 6th place)

Dave Frazier, Det. (28-5.7) (L 17-8 2.06 8.4-1.1-3.1 H/9-BB/9-SO/9) vs. Sal DeVaux, Ind. (33-3.5) (R 13-21 3.54 9.2-2.9-2.7)

We are 4-0 against DeVaux on the season.

Here is how good of a manager I am: Dave Frazier is leading the Liberty League in ERA now. He led the Liberty League in ERA last year. No pitcher has ever led the League in ERA two years in a row and yet he is my #2 pitcher.

Won - 5 to 2

2 straight games in Indy without a home run. That is an extreme rarity.

Frazier allowed 8 hits, no walks and struck out 3. At bat, he had a hit.

DeVaux gave us 11 hits, no walks and struck out 2. At bat, he hit a double.

We made 4 errors and Indianapolis made 2. We made 8 errors and Indy made 4 in the 2 games. This is the same bunch of Hoosiers that made 14 errors in a game not long ago.

LF Ren Dunbar (24-6.8) hit a double. 3B Jesse Flanders (28-5.4) had a hit and scored 2 runs. C Cliff Robinson (30-6.1) had 3 hits with a double and a triple, scored 2 runs and and an RBI.
