Omaha (6) at Kansas City (10): Lew Burnett (27-4.5) (12-11) over Tom Lee (30-6.0) (13-15). Burnett hit a home run, drew a walk and scored twice. 3B Al Sarbacker (27-4.8) had 4 hits with a triple, scored 2 runs and had 3 RBIs. Rookie RF Ed Anderson (20-7.5) had 3 hits with a double, stole 4 bases and scored 3 runs.
Washington (6) at Chicago (5): Dad Marshall (29-4.4) (3-2) over Skyrocket Howard (23-5.4) (6-7). Washington scored twice in the top of the 9th to take the lead.
Providence (3) at St. Louis (4): Fred Barrow (36-4.7) (6-16) over Tom Ashton (24-5.2) (21-15). Providence scored a run in the top of the 9th to tie the game, but St. Louis scored in the bottom half to win on a 2-out passed ball.
Brooklyn (9) at Milwaukee (5): Tom Homer (24-5.0) (6-5) over Kid Henze (24-5.2) (4-4). LF Monte Moody (30-6.9) had 3 hits with his 2nd home run of the season, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs.
