After making a couple of trades our offseason priorities have shifted. With Tomas Flores aboard at catcher we'll focus our attention on a second base upgrade, an upgrade at closer, and some starting pitching depth. We've decided to keep Dustin Ackley as our hitting coach because of the lack of a clear upgrade.

The Kodiaks didn't win any major awards, but Steven Borden did win a Gold Glove at first base. Jason Browning was the runner up for Reliever of the Year after he went 5-1 with 2 saves and a 0.97 ERA in 65 innings. Browning also finished third in Rookie of the Year voting.

In former player news, Matt Moore won the Reliever of the Year in Carolina after going 5-3 with 29 saves and a 1.20 ERA in 67 2/3 innings. Looks like he's found a niche as an expensive closer.
