The Orioles had a tough year and their fans were left frustrated with another poor attempt to defend their 1888 AL Pennant. The month of September saw the team put together another 10-10 month which meant they finished the year in 6th place in the AL table. Their final record for the year was one of 70-84. The fans will be hoping that the off season sees the team find their way back to form so that they can try for another pennant next season.

As the Month wore on the Orioles managed to get some of their stars fit to finish the season with some games. They managed to get Pitcher Toad Ramsey, Left Fielder Tip O'Neill and Catcher King Kelly fit.
Left Fielder Tip O'Neill proved to be the star for the season. He played in 139 games and managed to claim 190 hits from 551 at bats. This saw him score 107 runs with 85 RBI's for an average of .345.
