Pat Matthews (25-5.1) has decided he does not like managing and has stepped down as the field boss of the St. Louis Terriers after 8 games. Owner Bob Baugh (56-7.5) has appointed Tom Bromley (40-7.8) back as manager. Bromley managed the Terriers for 3 games while Baugh decided who to make the manager before choosing Matthews. Baugh says he will give Bromley a trial to see if he can be the permanent manager.
