you might want to post this as it's own thread for more responses. i've never done this, so make sure it's all correct.
i believe the license is in the registry... so you better write down your license, and unlicense the game before wiping your hard drive. you'll only need to back up the league and custom content that you have. you can re-download anything from add-ons central, so don't worry about that unless you have made personal edits to them.
as far as your league, just copy the entire directory to the flash drive. it's either <game directory>\data\saved games or it might be in Documents directory. you can always click the root drive and do a windows search for your league's name if you cannot find it. i don't know wher your custom stuff would be, so you'll have to look into that, but it's in the <game directory>\data directory somewhere (or documents\ootp\data or watever).
your league's size can vary. all the custom content is unknown too. if you have 1gb or more flash drive, you are probably golden. you may need only 1/3rd of that.
