Robinson Never Got Started

That was the warning from his trainer George Gainsford last night, "Robinson never got a chance to get started, once he hit that boy with his left the fight was over."
The champion scored the first knockdown just over a minute of the action gone with the referee picking up a count of seven, the knockout blow came at 2:54 and Balbi never looked like beating the count.
"Hopefully De La Hoya will give him some rounds," Gainford continued, "If he don't then Robinson might struggle for competition."
