6-1 this week. We had won 9 in a row before losing the opener to Endor City. I decided to traded SP Steve Michaels & SS Ramon Corona for an extra arm in the pen. Fyodor Chekmasov previously played for me in Rock City & Willowbrook.He is having a great season and will be the 8th inning guy moving Derek Self to the 7th when needed. I am also going with a 4man rotation for the time being with Duke von schamann getting an occasional start.
Shoeless Joe Jackson was activated from his rehab assignment vs Endor City, while OF Jackson smith was sent to AAA Dopson County.Sholess Joe will DH & some LF. Brain Mack & Vern Herrera will platoon at 1B.
With the trade of Corona, IF Judd Dunn was recalled from AAA. He can play some SS & 2B but is mostly a 3B. Lando Mewett will play 2B vs RHO and SS vs LHP. Jim Deluna will play SS vs RHP and Deracon Peabody will play 2B vs LHP.
Forgot to mention that we are finally in 1st place. the season is far from over and I am sure we will bounce between 1st & 2nd many times over the final 2 months.
