The team saw their treatment room suddenly get busy towards the end of the month after they lost 2 players to injury. The first to go was First Baseman Sid Farr. Farr has fractured a thumb and will be missing for between 6 and 7 weeks. The second player to need time on the sidelines is Second Baseman Danny Richardson. Richardson sprained an elbow and will miss 4 weeks of the season.
Third Baseman Denny Lyons continues to produce solid performances for the White Sox. He picked up 37 hits from 107 at bats in 26 games. He scored 20 runs with 10 RBI's for an average of .346.
