Starting Pitcher Gus Shallix suffered a blow to his season towards the end of the month as he tore his triceps. He will be in the treatment room for 2 months of the season.
The team lost Left Fielder Walt Goldsby to the Pittsburgh Alleghenys via waivers.
Despite the tough starts Short Stop Lefty Marr had a good month to start the season. He collected 32 hits from 103 at bats in 25 starts. He scored 17 runs with 9 RBI's for an average of .311
