The setting of the squad hurt the team a little this year as they lost Pitcher Milo Lockwood to the Boston Americans, Short Stop Nin Alexander to the Washington Nationals and Right Fielder Frank Whitney to the Pittsburgh Alleghenys via waivers.
Second Baseman Cupid Childs was excelllent in his first month of big time baseball. He collected 33 hits from 98 at bats during 25 games. He scored 18 runs with 13 RBI's for an average of .337.
