Short Stop Ed McKean has suffered a slight blip to his season as he will be laid up with asprained knee. He will be missing 2 weeks of the season with this injury.
Pitcher Jim McCormick joined a very select club this month after he picked up his 250th win. This puts him in the rarified air with only the win leader Jim Britt for company. Saying that he has a way to go before he can catch him as Britt has 357 wins currently.
First Baseman Roger Connor continues to prove to be the star on the team. April saw him collect 36 hits from 108 at bats during 28 games. He scored 28 runs with 20 RBI's for an average of .333.
