Well, I think I've found the issue. There is decidedly little power in this lineup. When your biggest power threat hits only 17 bombs, you won't be winning many games. And it's not like we're those god-forsaken Royals, getting on-base at a ridiculous clip. We have just two players with at least 300 AB get on base at a clip of at least .330. That is terrible. The line-up, riddled with injuries and under-performance, is a definite trouble-spot.

I'm not sure why Bartolo Colon doesn't show up in the above list. I assume it's due to his retirement (so sad we can never watch him bat again), but it's still pretty odd that he's absent. Anyways, with the addition of Zach Wheeler, the rotation should return a pretty strong group. The bullpen, on the other hand, worries me. Familia and Torres should make for a strong back end, but getting there could prove to be trouble. We'll look to shore up the bullpen in free agency, especially since we will not be tendering contracts to...

RP - Dillon Gee
RP - Bobby Parnell
RP - Carlos Torres
RF - John Mayberry Jr.

They will depart in free agency along with Daniel Murphy and Jerry Blevins. Should be in for a fun season...
