Since I don't really use my shortlist much, if I want to compare two players, I add them to my shortlist so they are the only two on there. Then when you go to your shortlist and click on one to see their profile, ratings, scouting reports, etc, you can just click on the "next" arrow under their name and it will only go back and forth between the two.
