Playing as GM in WHL...the first season (2015/16) never ended. I did not realize it at the time, but when the 2016/17 season started all of the stats and numbers just rolled in with 2015. Also...not a part of the above bug, but worth mentioning: the coach/GM firings are insane. Calgary Hitmen were in 1st place in the WHL with one hell of a record (37-7 at the time). They lost a game to the 2nd place team (me) and the coach was fired for poor performance!
Okay, so that could have been a one-time goof, I though to myself. Nope, not even close. The 3rd place (Victoria) was all of 6 points behind me and playing well. They lost a close to me, but were still miles ahead of the rest of league. Then, you guessed it, they fired their coach as well!
That is just insane. I am noting those two examples because they are ludicrous, but my inbox is filled with firings on a daily basis. Very difficult to take the game seriously as a "management sim" at this point.

Haven't seen that happen with the stats not getting reset before. Could you upload the save for us to have a look at?

The coach-firing bug appears to be happening in a number of different non-NHL leagues; it's definitely not designed to work like that. We're trying to figure out the cause.
