The Beaneaters injury news during August was more bad than good. The team lost Catcher Amos Cross for 4 weeks with a sprained wrist and also lost First Baseman John Reilly for the rest of the season after he broke a bone in his elbow. He will need 4 months to recover. The good news was the return of Centre Fielder Chief Roseman at the end of the month.
With another tough month for the Beaneaters their were very few star performers. With this in mind we won't be highlighting any players.
