Hi, I've come across some issues that are now preventing me from playing the game. I sank more than 50 hours into the game so far and this is the first time I've had any problems, but I've now had the same thing happen twice in the last 24 hours on two separate game files. I'm playing the game on Windows 10 through Steam.
Short version: My game keeps crashing when I try to sim past a certain date on two separate files (a different day and season in both cases).
More details:
Last night I was playing on my 'Canes file (currently in year 2022 I believe) when my friend came over, so I was showing him the game and we decided to start a new file where we would create ourselves and sim into the future to see how our careers turned out. For some reason, when we got to February 25th 2020, the game kept crashing out of nowhere when we would try to sim to the next day. Tried multiple times and it kept happening. I thought it was weird because I had already simmed past that point in my 'Canes file. Thought maybe it had something to do with a recent update or maybe because I had never taken control of a team to that point or something. But today when I went back to my 'Canes one, I simmed a few months and now the same thing keeps happening to that file (but on January 9th, 2022 or '23). I bought the game on release and made that file the same day and never had any problems with it so far playing it on and off the last few weeks.
Thank you in advance for any help, let me know if I can do anything such as uploading the aforementioned save files. I did see a post in this thread a few pages back that seemed to be detailing the same problem so maybe you're already aware. I really like this game so I'm really hoping we can figure out a way to get me back to managing my 'Canes team!
