So I don't know if this was happening before the update but when looking at the league stats for players if you sort it by "GR" everyone has 7 extra games played.

Example Crosby played in 82 games but as soon as I sort it by "GR" it says he has 89 games played and it happens to everyone. It looks like it is adding in preseason stats

Edit: It happens to all the stats not just games played
