During the Series off-day the Cavaliers organization got some good news as two of their Yokohama BayStars walked away with end of the year Awards, on their way to their second consecutive Championship. Congrats to two well deserving players and two guys who will be on the Cavaliers roster next season...

World Conference Pitcher of the Year Named: He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Alberto Ramos performed like a veteran on the hill for the Yokohama Baystars and walked away with the World Conference GL Golden Arm in the process.

The 25-year-old Baystars star fashioned a 18-0 won-loss record in 2027 with a 3.41 ERA. In 179.1 innings of work and 29 starts, Ramos struck out 185 while giving up 183 hits and 25 walks. He held opposing batters to a .263 average.

2027 Premier Batter Selected By WC: His teammates, fans and peers all agree that Oliver Ramos is worthy of the 2027 World Conference GL Silver Slugger. Today, the voters made it official.

The Yokohama first baseman was a bonafide success as he racked up a .350 average, 184 hits, 42 doubles, 2 triples, 37 home runs, 126 RBIs, 133 runs, 132 walks and a .487 OBP.
