The fans of the Colonels are having to settle for a steady season from their team this year after they put together another average month. The team managed to gain a record of 14-13 during June. They are now in 5th place in the AL table, 13.5 games behind the leaders.

3-0 at home to the Chicago White Sox
2-1 at home to the Boston Americans
2-0 on the road to the Baltimore Orioles (1 game suspended in 12th innings due to bad weather. Will be completed at a later date

1-2 on the road to the Washington Nationals
went 1-1 to start the home series against the Baltimore Orioles

The team was refreshed during the month with some trading.

The team sent 32 year old Second Baseman Bill McClellan and 23 year old Second Baseman Billy Klusman to the Chicago White Stockings in exchange for 25 year old Left Fielder Marty Sullivan.

They also traded 30 year old Short Stop Arthur Irwin and 21 year old Centre Fielder Taylor Shafer to the Brooklyn Bridegrooms in exchange for 29 year old Second Baseman Cub Stricker.

The team also claimed Second Baseman George Creamer from the Chicago White Stockings via waivers.

The teams continues to have some strong performers and some weak ones. This months top performer is Catcher Buck Ewing. Ewing picked up 31 hits from 94 at bats in his 24 games. He scored 21 runs with 10 RBI's for an average of .330.
