The White Sox had a poor month of form during June and the fans were not slow in showing their unhappiness with the play they saw. The team had a record of 12-16 during the month. This poor form has seen them continue to sit in 6th place in the AL table, 15 games behind the leaders.

Series Results
0-3 on the road to the Louisville Colonels
1-2 on the road to the Baltimore Orioles
0-3 at home to the Cleveland Blues
3-0 at home to the Washington Nationals
1-2 on the road to the Boston Americans
4-0 at home to the Louisville Colonels
1-2 on the road to the Baltimore Orioles
1-2 on the road to the Philadelphia Athletics
went 1-2 to start a road trip to the Cleveland Blues

It was a mixed month on the injury front for the White Sox. The team managed to get Third Baseman Denny Lyons fit early in the month but lost Second Baseman Danny Richardson at the same time for 2 weeks with a mild side strain. He returned towards the end of the month. The team also suffered a blow to the rotation as they lost Bob Emslie late in the month. He will be out for most of the rest of the season after picking up shoulder inflammation which will see him sidelined for 3 month.

While the teams form was up and down during the month, one star continued to put in the performances. That person was Short Stop Jack Rowe. Rowe picked up 42 hits from 107 at bats during his 27 games. This led to him scoring 19 runs with 20 RBI's for an average of .393. These figures were good enough for the AL voters to award him the Batter of the Month.
