Like in every major sport that uses a cap the dificult job is to build a team and try to keep its major pieces , so my questions is how do you guys build your team ?

I will be blunt i am a hit or miss guy on draft so i rely on finding gems or gambles especially on talented guys coming of a bad season or injuries i shy away from big fa signings or big re-signings i only give big bucks to goalies and a strong fast goalscoaring center i always tend to be in the lower half of the cap finance wise , my tactics is either boom or bust.

My prime example of a gamble was Ryan Johansen after a big injury but he performed for me and now i locked him up until 32 on a 8 mil per year contract

So whats yours ?
