Purinton did not. He was a late pick of Anaheim (141st) in 1995 but never made it off the reserve roster.
Nolan was taken 5th in the 1990 draft by Buffalo behind Derian Hatcher, Martin Brodeur, Dan McGillis and Petr Nedved.
He played most of his career in Buffalo on some fairly bad Sabres teams that never made the playoffs. Was then moved to Chicago for Rene Bourque and made the playoffs for the first time in his career with the Blackhawks but they lost in the first round. Then he spent 3 seasons in Atlanta, playing just 4 more playoff games before ending his career where it started with the Sabres.
Played just 1 game less in the sim than the 1200 he did in real life. He had 840 sim points compared to 885 real life. Was no where near his real life PIM total of 1793.
