The fans of the Americans continue to be satisfied with their teams performance this year. The team picked up 14 wins from their 27 games played during May. They continue to be positioned in 3rd place in the AL table but are now 5 games behind the leaders.

The injury news for the Americans was not good late in May. They lost Short Stop Hub Collins for 3 weeks with elbow soreness and Short Stop Bill White for 2 weeks with Back Soreness.

The Americans steady form didn't stop First Baseman Tommy Tucker from having a good month. Tucker played in all 26 games and managed to collect 33 hits from 101 at bats. He scored 12 runs with 16 RBI's for an average of .327.
