Mid July, I'm on the FA page, then click the Transfer Tab. This gives a summary of each teams off season losses/acquisitions and on the right it shows the player value.

Player Value - is it a combination of his potential/actual, stats, etc used to determine this rating? Not looking for a formula or anything, just a general idea what it constitutes.

In Baseball (OOTP), that figure is WAR, derived from performance.

Just wondering is this a Hockey equivalent to WAR?
