Dodgers CF Joc Pederson(23, 4.5/5*) broke out of a slump with a 3-5 2R 6RBI DB 2HR day, contributing nicely in a 9-1 win over the Cubs. In his first full season, Pederson is batting .230-10-37 in 69 games.

Royals SP Yordano Ventura(24, 2/2.5* HS, 3/3.5* OSA) hurled 8.1 scoreless innings of 1-hit ball, allowing only 3BB and 7K in a 7-0 win in Seattle. He is 6-5 5.04 66K in 15 starts, really struggling compared to 2014.
