After just missing out on the NL pennant the past 2 seasons the fans of the Quakers are hoping the team can go that extra step this year with the title win. The independent league assessors didn't brighten the mood of the fans as they predicted another near miss this year with a third 2nd place finish and a record of 80-74.
The MLB head office has decided to again tamper with the schedule and increase the games to 154 so that more fans can see their favourite stars.
The players worked hard throughout the pre-season training camp. The GM and Manager were pleased with the attitude shown and used this to help them select the opening day roster. This is given below.
