The fans of the White Stockings are hoping that their team can get back to challenging for the NL title this year. The independent league assessors couldn't be quite as positive about the coming season for the team as they predicted a 6th place finish in the NL with a record of 75-79.
The MLB head office has decided to again tamper with the schedule and increase the games to 154 so that more fans can see their favourite stars.
The GM and Manager oversaw a tough training camp with the players during the pre season. This has helped them in coming up with the below opening day roster for the team.
