Manager Jesse Courtney (38-5.1) has his Puddlers in town to begin a 4 game series with a double-header today. We are 9-5 against them on the season, but they beat is 3 of 4 in Pittsburgh a month ago. All 3 of our losses in that series were by 1 run. They are 7th in the League in scoring with 5.9 per game (Detroit is 4th with 6.1). They are 2nd in runs allowed with 6.0 per game, but that number is rising since their #1 pitcher, Tom Lilly (27-6.4), was hurt for the season (Detroit is #1 with a pretty amazing 4.8).

Wolf left the game after 3 innings with a sore wrist, but should be fine in a few days. 3B Bill Parsons (30-8.3) had 4 hits, scored a run and had 3 RBIs.
