The team had good and bad news on the injury front during August. They saw Centre Fielder Paul Hines return from injury mid month. They lost the services of Short Stop John Richmond for most of the month after he was sidelined for 3weeks with a strained rib cage.
Second Baseman Henry Larkin put up some solid numbers in August. He claimed 41 hits from 117 at bats during his 27 games. He scored 17 runs with 21 RBI's for an average of .350.
