The fans of the giants were not surprised when it was finally confirmed that their team could no longer win the pennant in early August. They are just hoping to see improvements from the up coming off season after another tough year. The team managed as 12-13 record during the month. They are now sitting in 7th place in the NL table, 30 games behind the leaders.
