Another team owner passed away last night: Red Schulman (54-6.5) of the Louisville Bourbons died of a heart attack shortly after leaving the ballpark in his personal carriage. He was rushed the hospital but was dead before the arrived. Witnesses said that he was extremely agitated at the nature of his team's defeat. As with the Reds, the Bourbons will be run by the League until a new owner can be located.
CF Ben Spencer (27-4.2) is ready to sit on our bench again, so LF Sy Geller (28-5.7) is headed back to Syracuse.

Frazier allowed 4 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1. At bat, he had a hit and scored 2 runs.
Mathews gave us 9 hits, 3 walks and struck out 5. At bat, he had a hit.
We made no errors and Pittsburgh made 5.
3B Sam Boullion (27-4.8) hit a double. 1B Jocko Cole (25-6.1) had 2 hits with a double and 2 RBIs. C Jack Henderson (27-4.5) hit a double and scored a run.
For the Puddlers, CF Al Steel (27-7.0) hit his 2nd home run of the season.
Liberty League:
Cleveland (6) at Louisville (7): William McLeod (28-5.6) (22-14) over Ed Pedersen (25-5.1) (18-27). Louisville turned the table on Cleveland and scored scored 4 times in the bottom of the 9th to win. Pedersen struck out the 1st 2 batters in the 9th and then everything fell apart. The winning run was knocked in by 3B Sam Clark (36-4.7). C Andy Runnels (30-7.8) hit his 2nd home run of the year.
Cincinnati (11) at Indianapolis (8): Charlie Branham (27-4.2) (25-20) over Sal DeVaux (32-3.5) (15-15).
The weather in Boston has been abysmal and they have only played 1 game all week.
Grand National Association:
Providence (10) at Kansas City (7): Tom Ashton (23-5.2) (5-5) over Lew Burnett (26-4.5) (25-23). For the Cowboys, RF Fred Umbaugh (26-5.4) hit his 2nd home run of the season, this one with the bases loaded.
Brooklyn (5) at Milwaukee (4) in 12 innings: Ren French (26-4.9) (21-18) over Zachary Buchanan (26-4.0) (23-17). In 11.2 innings, French allowed 9 hits, 1 walk and struck out 2. With 2 runners on base, William David (24-3.6) came in to get the final out and preserve the victory.
Omaha (14) at St. Louis (3): Lee Sprague (27-3.5) (20-26) over Fred Barrow (35-4.7) (19-19). Sprague allowed 8 hits, 3 walks and struck out no one. Rookie 2B Dave Henderson (24-41) had 4 hits with a double and his 2nd home run of the year, scored 2 runs and had 3 RBIs.
Baltimore (8) at Chicago (12): Pat Seguin (23-4.4) (32-16) over Bill McGee (29-7.9) (4-6). Seguin hit a double and a triple, scored 3 runs and had an RBI. Rookie 2B Eb Provost (23-4.6) hit a home run. C Walt Wilson (27-5.2) hit his 5th and RF Washington Macho (38-8.3) hit his 2nd and his 3rd. For the Orioles, RF Sol Renaud (30-5.7) hit his 4th home run of the season.
