Frazier allowed 7 hits, 1 walk and struck out 3. At bat, he had a hit, scored a run and had an RBI.

We had 9 hits and made 3 errors. Cleveland made 5.

LF Al Lewis (22-9.1) hit a triple, drew a walk, stole a base and scored 2 runs. 3B Sam Boullion (27-4.8) had a hit, stole a base, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. 2B Al Shaffer (27-5.6) had a hit, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. 1B Jocko Cole (25-6.1) had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. SS Tom Nelson (21-6.6) had the worst day any one has had this season: he went 0'for at the plate, grounding into a double-play and made all 3 of our errors. CF Tom Duncan (22-6.6) had 2 hits and scored 2 runs. C Jack Henderson (27-4.5) failed to hit a home run in his 3rd career game, but did walk twice and scored 2 runs and threw out the only runner who tried to steal a base.

For the Spiders, RF Tom Laarman (26-7.8) had 2 hits with a double, stole a base, scored 3 runs and had an RBI. 2B Jesse Flanders (27-5.4) had 3 hits and a walk and scored a run.

Well, it is hard to complain about a 16-1 home-stand! And the one loss was in 12 innings. But now we have to head on the road for the next 3 weeks.

Liberty League:

Pittsburgh (6) at Boston (11) Game 1: William Little (26-6.0) (19-16) over Whitey Mathews (24-4.1) (16-18). C Hub West (33-6.7) hit his 5th home run of the year. Manager/1B Pete Bucolo (39-4.1) hit his 3rd.

Pittsburgh (6) at Boston (4) Game 2: Tom Adams (33-6.0) (6-7) over Joe Peters (31-4.9) (2-2). Adams allowed 7 hits, 2 walks and struck out 1. RF Ace Trimmell (29-5.0) had 4 hits with a double, scored a run and had an RBI. LF Billy Galloway (26-5.3) hit his 6th home run of the season. Peters did not strike any one out.

Cincinnati (6) at New York (9): Jack Roberts (35-6.1) (12-25) over Charlie Branham (27-4.2) (24-20). 1B John Hilliard (27-7.2) hit his League-leading 16th home run of the year. The all-time record for a season is 18. RF Henry Walter (31-6.3) hit a home run.

Grand National Association:
Omaha (11) at Kansas City (3): Lee Sprague (27-3.5) (19-24) over Lew Burnett (26-4.5) (23-22). Sprague allowed 10 hits, 1 walk and struck out 5. SS Ed Aldrich (23-6.8) had 4 hits and a walk, scored 3 runs and had an RBI. Rookie 2B Dave Henderson (24-4.1) had 4 hits and 2 RBIs.

Baltimore (2) at Milwaukee (11): Zachary Buchanan (26-4.0) (22-16) over Frank McSherry (32-4.1) (5-7). Buchanan allowed 7 hits, 1 walk and struck out 2. McSherry has lost 6 of his last 7 after starting out 4-1.

Providence (2) at St. Louis (9): Fred Barrow (35-4.7) (19-18) over Tom Ashton (23-5.2) (4-4). Barrow allowed 7 hits, no walks and struck out 4. RF Biff Place (26-5.4) hit a home run.

Brooklyn (3) at Chicago (5): Pat Seguin (23-4.4) (29-16) over Ren French (26-4.9) (19-18). Seguin allowed 9 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1. French allowed 6 hits, 4 walks and struck out 4. For the Gladiators, C Jim Granier (32-5.7) had 4 hits with a triple, scored 2 runs and had an RBI.
