Boston (6) at Pittsburgh (5): William Little (26-6.0) (18-16) over Whitey Mathews (24-4.1) (16-17). Little allowed 9 hits, 3 walks and struck out 6. At bat, he had 3 hits with his 2nd home run of the season, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs.
