New York Gothams (35-46 .432 19.5 GB in 7th place in the Liberty League) at
Detroit Wolverines (55-27 .671 1st place)
Miah Turner, N.Y. (26-5.3) (R 18-10 2.85 8.8-1.7-4.1 H-BB-K/9) vs. Lou Townley, Det. (25-3.4) (R 26-8 2.43 8.6-1.3-3.7).
We are 2-2 against Turner so far. The 2 best pitchers in baseball, in my opinion, going at it today. Should be a 1 to 0 game, but you know it will end up 10 to 9.

Townley allowed 11 hits, 2 walks and struck out 1.
