The fans of the Browns are lowering their expectations again for the season after they saw an average month from their favourites. The team picked up a record of 12-13 during the month. They are now sitting 8.5 games behind the leaders in 4th place in the NL table.

The team lost Short Stop Billy Otterson late in the month for 2 weeks with mild shoulder inflammation.

Centre Fielder Pete Browning once again showed why he is the teams leaders. He claimed 33 hits from 83 at bats in his 20 games. He scored 17 runs with 29 RBI's for an average of .398.
