I understand your frustration and having several times defended the FHM franchise from it's critics, I find the anticipation of the upgraded FHM2 more than offsets the "bad history" of the original release.
About the only thing I can disagree with your post is I was able to play the FHM14 game (warts and all) by modifying my playing style to simming games and even had a following on these forums under Dynasties. So imho FHM14 owes me nothing.
