The Quakers fans can start to feel the pennant heading their way this year as their team continues to prove it is the strongest in the NL. The team picked up wins in 14 of their 21 games during June. They continue to lead the NL table and have extended the lead to 4.5 games.

The injury news was good for the Quakers as First Baseman Charlie Levis returned.

This month their were 2 stars with the bat. With the seasons rolling on we have decided to highlight the new boy on the plate in George Van Haltren. Van Haltren had an excellent month in June as he picked up 37 hits from 83 at bats in 21 games. He scored 30 runs with 20 RBI's for an average of .446. This earned him the NL Rookie of the Month award.
