FWIW, I've noticed this too, but it seems only after the patch previous to the one issued today.

I tend to just let things like this go, and did, but I've seen a few references. I double checked settings, etc, nothing amiss. I do not see the team strategy setting issue mentioned above either. Most are set to the center, or one click either way.

I feel just about certain the problem arose with version 16.7.36. I do play out all my games and while i don't monitor the AI's in-game moves with a magnifying glass, this one is hard to miss because you are expecting it to do one thing, then it doesn't.

My game is one started in version 15 from the roster set. Imported almost immediately after 16 was released. I'm currently in the 4th season since beginning.
