July 23rd,1986 Game 94 Red Sox vs. A's

Boston was looking for their 5th win in a row but sadly it wasn't meant to be. Oakland got 2 in the bottom of the first on a Carney Lansford 2 run homer and that would be all they needed as the A's defeat the Red Sox 2-1. Wade Boggs and LaShelle Tarver each had 2 hits in a losing effort.
