Latest patch, suddenly it's freezing at 30% Loading nation flags. I don't have a large nation flags folder. What's it trying to load?

EDIT: Went to create a new game to see if I have a similar problem here. Got the white screen of death problem I mentioned earlier. Was hoping the new patch could fix it. Guess I can't run this game.
