Let me add walks to the list: Home Runs, errors and walks; I am sick of all of them.

McLeod allowed 7 hits, 7 walks and struck out 4. At bat, he had a hit and a walk.

Morlock gave us 7 hits, 3 walks and struck out 5. At bat, he had a hit and a walk and an RBI.

We made 2 errors and Boston made 5.

RF Fred Bianco (27-6.9) hit a double, stole a base, scored a run and had an RBI. C Evan Eckberg (30-3.5) hit a double.

For Boston, 1B Bill Gordon (29-3.7) had a hit and walked 3 times and scored twice. 2B Mike Stables (30-7.1) had 2 hits and a walk, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. 3B Tug Crane (27-6.5) hit a 2-run home run.

Liberty League:
Cincinnati (4) at New York (3): John Stevens (29-8.2) (21-13) over Jack Roberts (34-6.1) (21-15). New York scored twice in the bottom of the 9th, but the game ended with the tying and go-ahead runs on base. Stevens allowed 6 hits, 2 walks and struck out 6. Roberts allowed 9 hits, 1 walk and struck out 8. RF Fleet Wilcox (29-4.9) hit a double and his 3rd home run of the season, drew a walk and scored 2 runs. Another player/manager bites the dust as LF Silver Borresen (32-6.9) tore up his shoulder and will not play again this season.

Philadelphia (9) at Rochester (1): Ted Ryther (32-4.3) (11-21) over Ed Hodges (26-3.2) (15-16). Ryther allowed 4 hits, no walks and struck out 5. At bat, he walked twice and scored 2 runs. 3B Jack Warren (34-7.2) had 3 hits with a double and scored 2 runs. Rookie LF Biff Place (25-5.4) will miss a month with a sore hamstring.

Cleveland (6) at Indianapolis (8): Dad Marshall (27-4.4) (18-15) over Ed Pedersen (24-5.1) (18-18). Marshall allowed 9 hits, 1 walk and struck out 2. At bat, he had 2 hits and an RBI. Pedersen has lost 4 of his last 5. 3B Bill Lawson (29-6.9) had 2 hits with his 3rd home run of the year, scored 2 runs and had 3 RBIs. SS Bob Moran (34-4.5) had 4 hits, stole a base, scored a run and had an RBI.

Grand National Association:

Baltimore (8) at Pittsburgh (3): Pop Yurkovich (34-5.6) (15-19) over Tom Lilly (26-6.4) (21-15). Yurkovich allowed 2 hits, 5 walks and struck out 6. At bat, he hit a triple and scored a run. 2B Billy Moore (30-7.0) had 2 hits with a double, scored a run and had 4 RBIs.

Brooklyn (12) at Chicago (7): Ren French (25-4.9) (17-16) over Pete Rinehart (27-6.2) (23-15). French allowed 6 hits, 5 walks and struck out 4. RF Tom Campbell (28-3.6) hit 1 3-run home run and scored twice. It was his 3rd home run of the season. CF Piggy Galon (25-4.8) will miss the next 6 weeks with a sprained knee. Brooklyn retakes 1st place.
